LOVE LETTER
In a storm, we met like destined raindrops,
To take a journey hand in hand with oceanic life.
As little birds take the leap to learn the art of flight,
I leaped and fell for her to learn the art of loving.
In just a couple of days, our hearts wandered miles;
a lifetime, we shall trek to infinity and beyond.
Like a newborn's first breath of life,
My love, I long for our first kiss.
A breeze that once glided carefree in life,
Then she guided him to navigate the hard terrain of life.
A heart once lost of its last ember of a dream,
Now she lights the life in those dreams once again.
A candle who shared his light with those few around him,
Now on a path to be sunlight that protects life.
Once a narrow brook that reflected the beauty around,
Now a river that curbs drought to reach the sea of hope.
Once a sand dune of fleeting footprints of passers-by,
Now a rock with her name engraved in perpetuity.
Lived a life as fog that fades in the sight of fresh light,
Now as vital as the air she breathes in every moment.
Once a shy wallflower that just existed,
Now she adorns him like a sanguine rose in her hair.
Once, I created love at the tip of a pen;
Now, no pen can ever pen what is felt.
